DIP switches, short for Dual In-line Package switches, are small, manual electronic components used to set fixed electrical signals or configure device functions, and their common applications span consumer electronics, industrial control, and communication fields.

For example, in LED light controllers, DIP switches set parameters like light color temperature, dimming mode, or flash frequency. In older TV set-top boxes or audio equipment, they adjust signal input/output modes or regional frequency bands.
